香港很小人認識我們的姓氏
其實在香港裏很小人認識我們的姓氏’連怎樣讀也不識,所以在香港裏和我們同寫的繁體甯字都沒有很多人’如果同一樣’大多數99%是親屬,但最近香港翡翠電視台晚上21;00播影一套名我的野蠻奶奶,戲裏演術他的姓氏用我們的甯字’所以在播影十多天,終於在香港的地方有很多人認識了我們的姓氏了.

一点说明
不过从介绍来看，该剧集主角宁茂春是属于满族宁姓。而满族宁姓是属于满姓宁佳氏或宁古塔氏改姓，一般写成“寧”，而不是我们的“甯”，两姓来源不同。后来由于避道光帝之讳，满姓的“寧”也有写成“甯”的。

Yes, I do agree it is very few Nings not only in Hiong Kong, but also in Malaysia or even in Guangdong province.

There are some Ning's people in HK
I had ever checked the yellow book (phone book) of Hong Kong, and found there are about 50 people using Ning 甯 or 寧 as their surnames. You would know if you could go and check that book.

Ning folks in Hong Kong

In general I think Hong kong people is a little "cool" or "cold" than others, therefore, I don't any difference for Ning's folks in HK.
By the way, is there any Ning folks from Hong Kong ever try to contact or access this website?
It is kind of curious to know this, thanks.

Surname of Ning or Ling in HongKong
Dear All,
It is pleasure to hear there are some same surname of Ning or Ling in HK. Actually, the 寧 or 甯 will be translated to Ning or Ling in HK. So it maybe your same surname if you find some Ning or Ling. But I have never heard surname of LING between my friend, classmates or colleagues.
